Even though beginners would gleam useful instruction from this book, I feel however that it leans more to being written with the intermediate to experienced jewelers in mind. This is a marvelous book. The stunning and brilliant step by step photography is a huge plus.
With that all said, if you have had experience with color, texture and casting or are taking a class at this time this book is a must have for your library. It will complement what you are learning and enhance your ever growing knowledge greatly.
