This book definitely shows what a magnificent artisan and teacher Gordon K. Uyehara is. All his techniques are accompanied by well written instructions and stunning photography. This book is a must have for all you metal clay artist and would make a great contribution to any reference library. 
This Metal Clay Master Class Series is mainly intended for Intermediate to Advanced metal clay artist. This amazing publication is very detailed and percise. Mr. Uyehara is very meticulous in his endeavor to cover every detail of this craft. The projects in this book are simply amazing as you can see in the few pics below. 
What a Brilliant publication this is.
Metal Clay is something I've always wanted to try my hand at but so far I continue to dream and do nothing about it. But a peek into this book has been amazingly inspiring and makes me long to give it a try . . . albeit I'd have to start with Metal Clay - Kindergarten level 101. :)
ReplyDeleteThis book has tons of information not just projects and would be helpful when you are ready for it but I do agree maybe a class or two . I started with polymer clay several years ago . I didn't have a clue how to use it so I purchased several books and even though they seemed a bit advanced for a beginner I did manage to find loads of helpful information..Plus there are tons of videos on everything clay on you tube.
