MELISSA CABLE has been creating her jewelry for more than a dozen years. Melissa also runs her own bead store in Seattle, Washington. Melissa also teaches her students sound skills. She has taught around the world and is published in magazines and books. She also published the book, SPOTLIGHT ON WIRE in 2011. createrecklessly.blogspot.com and www.melissacable.com . What a beautiful glimpse into this amazingly brilliant artist's creativity. Not only do you get meticulously written guidance and instructions you also get step by step photographs. The photography is stunning. Melissa leads you through flower fundamentals and supplies you also with a list of tools and supplies to get you started. Then you will learn forming basic flowers in a chapter containing specifics and favorites Melissa uses. You will also glean from Melissa's vast knowledge the advanced techniques for flowers and foliage. You will receive several step by step projects to recreate, as you can see by the pictures I have included in this review. I am a jewelry artisan myself and have never delved into making my own metal jewelry, but after reading this book, I can honestly say, My interest has been peaked. I find myself eager to collect the needed supplies and tools to start my own adventure into metal jewelry.
